If you find a number you like, click on the box to select it. Otherwise, you can refresh the page to get another set of numbers to choose from.

Some custom and toll-free numbers have a one-time acquisition fee. You will see it in the just above the number. This one-time fee will not increase your monthly cost.

Complete Checkout

Once you've selected your business phone number, we'll gather some information about your business and get your credit card information.

Telecom taxes are based on your location, so taxes will be shown on the checkout screen as soon as your address is entered.

Fine Tune Your Settings

By default, Forward Connect is set to forward calls to the number you designated on the checkout page. You can change this during setup, or anytime you like by visiting your dashboard.

Calls will be transferred unannounced and the caller will hear a default ring tone while the transfer takes place. You'll get your voicemail in the same way you do other calls to your mobile device.

If you are happy with these settings, you don't need to do anything else. Your new business number is ready to use immediately.

You do have some options to do even more.  You can:

Add a Welcome Greeting

If you'd like callers to hear a message before the call is forwarded, you can type in the text during setup or later by visiting your dashboard.

With Call Screening enabled, calls will be announced with the designated voice tag, such as “business call” or the name of your business. You can choose to accept or reject the call.

Call screening

If the call is rejected or there is no answer, you can set it to disconnect the call or send it to your Phone.com voicemail.
