How do I view and update my AI-Connect scripts?

This article will walk you through viewing and adding AI-Connect scripts.

Select Receptionist Services under the Administration dropdown on the left panel of My.Phone.com

Here you will see your existing AI-Connect scripts.


You will also be able to click Create a New  Script to make a new one.

Creating a New Script

First, replace the default name with a descriptive name for your script.

Next, choose the voice of your receptionist. You can preview with the standard text or add your own.

Next, you can add knowledge items that answer your callers' most frequently asked questions. Add as many as you'd like.



Now you can create your company directory to route callers to the person or team that can help them. Enter your contact's name and then a destination for the call. It can be their extension, a phone number, or a voicemail box.

If you want to take advantage of AI-Connect's appointment scheduling feature, connect your calendar.

Next, hit Save Changes.

Now you are ready to add your script to the call handling rules of any of your phone numbers. Don't skip this step! You must associate the script with one or more phone numbers or it will not work.

After creating your receptionist script, navigate to Numbers in your Admin settings and select Edit for the phone number you want your AI receptionist to answer. Under Call Handling, select AI-Connect, choose your receptionist script from the list, and click Save to apply the changes.
